Maybe pick a joke that people actually can relate to. I can’t remember the last time I actually wanted a margarita, and Georgia red is something so random it barely makes sense.
It’s better than endless “Is it vegan enough?” discussions. Any more substantial comment I might make could devolve into topics that are best avoided.
That said, done clumsily, the Red/Marg thing can grate. But its a tradition that hasn’t been kicked to the gutter yet, and there have been others that I’m sure people miss, at least some of the time.
If either bit is officially executed and buried by the Corporation, it will no doubt be resurrected on a nightly basis by the random mehmner of the hois pollois hereon.
Might as well keep it and drive it further into the ground…
